 THE GIFT OF A MULLIGAN  is a 3-Iron Golf program designed to help charities and other not-for-profit organizations raise incremental revenue by converting their patrons' cache of "no-longer-in-service" golf clubs into cash for the organization's mission. Charity golf tournament:

Many patrons of good causes want to help but suffer from "donor fatigue" - weary from the constant ask for more money.  You might find them very responsive to an opportunity to give "more" to the cause without having to reach into their wallets at all:

When promoting your annual fundraiser tournament, simply ask your participants to bring some of their used golf clubs to the event and drop them off at your registration table (3-Iron Golf will provide a collection bin for you). We will collect those clubs at the event and write a check to your organization the full wholesale value* of the donated clubs. We'll even draft a promotional announcement for you to customize and distribute to your participants.

Club donation drive:

If you're looking for a new fundraiser for your booster club, fraternity or other not-for-profit group, ask them to donate some of their used golf clubs to your organization. 3-Iron Golf makes it easy for them - we'll provide a prepaid shipping label so they can drop them off at a nearby parcel delivery shop and ship them directly to us. We'll write a check to your group for the full wholesale value* of the donated clubs.

​​​​*  Wholesale cash value for used golf clubs is generally defined as 90% of the cash trade-in value of the same or similar model clubs as promoted on the websites of the leading online retailers of used golf clubs - less any direct shipping costs. Note that some older clubs may carry no resale value at all - and will be donated to The First Tee or other youth golf program.​ 

 

Payment for clubs purchased through THE GIFT OF A MULLIGAN will be made within 30 days of the event at which the clubs are collected.
